The Heart Behind Signature Care

Alisha Jackson, MSN, FNP-C

Hi, I’m Alisha Jackson, the founder of Signature Care and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. My journey in nursing began with a simple belief: that exceptional healthcare should be compassionate, accessible, and centered entirely on you.

My own path has been shaped by a dedication to mastering my craft. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and my Master of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University. But my true education has come from years of hands-on experience across the entire healthcare spectrum—from home health and primary care to acute hospital, progressive, and urgent care settings.

This diverse background in acute care, primary care, step-down ICU/progressive care, urgent care, home care, and wound care management is what makes Signature Care different. I’ve personally managed chronic conditions, provided complex wound care, and responded to urgent medical needs. I understand the challenges patients and families face, not just from a textbook, but from real life. I founded this practice to bridge the gaps I saw in our healthcare system—to bring comprehensive, high-quality medical care directly to you in Detroit, ensuring continuity, comfort, and a truly personal touch.

Your well-being is my passion, and your trust is my greatest reward. I look forward to being your partner in health.
